Washington County Ambulance District is a political subdivision in the State of Missouri and is the sole provider of Emergency Medical Services in Washington County, Missouri.
The providers at Washington County Ambulance District are proud to be considered pre-hospital clinicians who provide top notch care to the patients we serve.
We ensure four (4) ambulances are available for emergency responses and interfacility transfers at the Advanced Life Support or Critical Care Transport level 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We have the ability to staff up to three (3) additional ambulances during predicted peak times or on short notice due to high call volume with on-call staff or members of the leadership team.
Washington County Ambulance District responds to approximately 5,000 calls for service each year and proudly provides coverage to all 762 square miles of Washington County, Missouri. Most of the calls for service result in patients being transported to facilities in Washington County, St. Francois County, Jefferson County, Franklin County and the St. Louis metro area.
